Update. My keyboard arrived. It is great and nice to type on. I get the basic with white back light and brown switches. Keychron were great and it arrived in Australia 8 days after ordering. Thanks James for the review.

I went to their website to buy myself one of those epic keyboards, but it is out of stock. So fuck that shit, I guess I'll just stick my my razer; and I bet that when it's finally back in stock I will have forgotten about this epic keyboard so I won't care much anymore. They are losing so much business, it's insane! And all because of the simple fact that they don't keep adequate stock. It's a bit sad, really.

If anyone hasn’t explained why RGB backlighting doesn’t take as much battery out (compared to white) as expected is because all the single colors (R G B) apart from white only require ONE LED to be on whereas white requires all three of the diodes to be on. Which explains the massive decrease from the 200+ hours with backlight off all the way down to the 70ish hours with the white light on and 60is hours with RGB

Hey guys, great video. Quick feedback: I'd like to see you start including in your videos on keyboards mentions of available layouts. Because for a lot of international or multilingual users products like this that check almost all of the boxes are still not an option because they don't sell their layout. You have enough of a market influence to start pushing for some change in the industry and give international dealers other options over the usual available suspects like razer, corsair,... And by layout I mean more than just QWERTY vs ASERTY, etc. There are multiple versions of QWERTY featuring language specific characters and symbols.

So I saw this bid when it came out, today a friend asked me about a keyboard and I wanted to show him this vid. It took me 30 mins to find it, with the 8(?) different channels and the titels being as non descriptive as they are. The reason for the battery life difference between White versus another color is probably because they don't have a dedicated white LED. They would have to power on the 3 RGB LEDs equally to achieve white rather than the varied amount on other colors.

$40 gets you a Redragon K551 with a metal chassis and nice Outemu switches. Enthusiast level? No. But it's pretty hard to beat for the price and mine has held up great.
